Congratulations to Emil Jamalyan and Gohar Stepanyan, proud graduates and participants of the ArmeniaCorps initiative, who celebrated their graduation by giving back to their community.
Just one day before their ceremony, Emil and Gohar enriched their rural school library with bestselling books on business and personal growth—resources they acquired through their active involvement in the Arevashen initiative developed within ArmeniaCorps I program.
The Arevashen project, implemented in the villages of Arevabuyr and Marmarashen, equips rural youth with practical tools in financial literacy, media literacy, and personal development, enabling them to make informed life choices. By sharing knowledge and resources, participants become agents of change in their own communities.
This initiative aligns with global goals—particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Communities)—by fostering inclusive access to learning and personal development opportunities in rural areas.
