Collaboration with OmniPonics NGO for Aquaponics Skills Session

On January 2024, the Skills for Aquaponics session gathered individuals with diverse backgrounds, including farmers and those interested in acquiring knowledge in organic and green farming, from the Masis Consolidated Community. The two-day session equipped participants with theoretical and practical skills, helping them recognize the significance of organic agriculture through diverse Ponics technologies.

Participants also traveled to Ddmashen village in the Gegharkuniq region for on-site learning in an Aquaponic greenhouse. After completing the session, participants were awarded certificates.

The training session was organized by the OmniPonics NGO. It was funded by USAID within the framework of the program implemented through the Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development (CARD).

ArmeniaCorps collaborated with OmniPonics NGO to co-organize a Skills for Aquaponics training session. We supported the implementation by coordinating local logistics and recruiting participants from the community.
